I'm Chalo Gallardo.
I've spent over 10 years working in advertising. I've led art direction, managed creative teams, and learned that no award matters more than an idea that truly connects.
I'm currently Head of Art at Leo/Publicis and Creativity professor at Universidad Diego Portales, where I try to teach what I practice: thinking with the heart and building with your hands.
I studied Communications at UDP, trained in Crossmedia at Academia Mac, earned a Master's in Creative Branded Content at Miami Ad School Madrid, and became Adobe Certified in Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
I’ve worked as Art Director at agencies like Simple, Why, and Prolam Y&R, as Creative Director at BBK ONE, and as Group Art Lead at VML.
I’ve had the chance to create campaigns for brands like Samsung, McDonald's, Unimarc, Chery & Exeed, Great Wall Motors, Tottus, Bci, and the Government of Chile, among many others.
My work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, Effie, PHNX, WINA, Madstars, and ACHAP, and I’ve served as a juror for FIAP, New York Festivals, Madstars, and PHNX.
In 2022, I took part in LIAisons, an international mentorship program that helped me confirm something simple: talent can be trained, sensitivity must be nurtured, and the path —well, you build it yourself.
